Mega Tools are a powerful suite of features designed specifically for Google Sheets™ to help you manage, analyze, and clean your spreadsheet data more efficiently.

What are Mega Tools?

Mega Tools provide essential functionality for spreadsheet and data work, organized into three main categories:

Standard Workflow

Most Mega Tools follow a find-first pattern:

  1. Select your scope - Choose whether to work with your current selection, the current sheet, or all sheets
  2. Configure options - Set up search criteria, comparison settings, or formatting preferences
  3. Run the find/search - Execute the primary action to identify matches
  4. Review results - View results in a table with checkboxes, locations, and type badges
  5. Apply actions - Select specific results and apply actions like highlighting, deleting, or formatting

Available Tools

Find Values in Cells Search for values via regex or substring, then highlight, replace, format, or copy matches.
Find Duplicate Cells Locate cells with duplicate values, with options for case sensitivity and whitespace trimming.
Find duplicates within two columns Compare two columns in the same sheet to flag duplicates between them.
Sum by Color Calculate sums grouped by cell background or text color, with results displayed in the sidebar.
Cell Value Heatmap Visualize data patterns by applying color gradients to cell values based on their numeric or text content.
Text Case Transform Normalize capitalization across your selection with smart sentence and proper case options.
Smart Text Case ✨ AI-powered, context-aware capitalization for names, addresses, and messy input.
Find Duplicate Rows Identify rows with identical data across multiple columns, then highlight, delete, or mark them.
Find duplicate rows across selected sheets Compare multiple sheets to spot duplicated rows across tabs.
Sort by Color Sort the current selection using cell background colors.
Combine Rows, Columns, or Cells Merge cell content without losing data while keeping delimiters under control.
Fill Blank Cells Intelligently fill blanks using nearby patterns or defaults.
