Smart Text Case ✨

Use Smart Text Case when rules-based casing is not enough. It applies AI to fix capitalization intelligently while preserving acronyms and brand names.

How to use Smart Text Case

  1. Open the tool
    Extensions → Text To Table Converter → Mega Tools → Smart Text Case.

  2. Choose context

    • Auto-detect (default)
    • People names
    • Addresses
    • Product titles
    • Sloppy input

  3. Analyze & preview
    Click Analyze & Preview to generate a side-by-side diff of suggested fixes.

  4. Apply changes
    Review the highlighted differences, then click Apply Changes to write updates back to the sheet.

What it fixes

  • Proper casing for names (e.g., “sean o’malley” → “Sean O’Malley”)
  • Protects acronyms and brands (e.g., “ceo of ibm” → “CEO of IBM”, “iphone” → “iPhone”)
  • Cleans accidental caps lock or mixed case (“tHANKS fOR yOUR hELP” → “Thanks for your help”)
