Find Values in Cells

The Find Values in Cells tool helps you quickly locate content in Google Sheets™. Use it to highlight matches, copy results, or prep replacements before running other actions.

How to use Find Values in Cells

1. Open the tool
   Extensions → Text To Table Converter → Mega Tools → Find Values in Cells.

2. Choose the scope

   • Selection (default)
   • Current sheet
   • All sheets

3. Set your matcher

   • Contains (substring) or Exact match
   • Regex (toggle)
   • Case sensitivity and Trim whitespace (toggles)

4. Run the search
   Click Find values to populate the results table.

5. Act on the results

   • Highlight matched cells with a chosen color
   • Copy results to clipboard (addresses + values)
   • Replace values inline (optional)

Astuce

Results persist until you run a new search, so you can apply multiple actions to the same set of matches without re-running the find step.
