Need to transfer content from your Google Docs™, Sheets™, or Slides™ into an AI chat interface? The Text To Table Converter add-on provides two features that copy document content directly to your clipboard, ready to paste into ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or any other LLM interface.
Two Copy Options
Copy All Contents: Copies the entire document—all tabs, sheets, or slides—to your clipboard. Perfect when you need complete context.
Copy Tab Contents: Copies only the current tab, sheet, or slide you're viewing. Ideal for focusing on a specific section.
How It Works
- Choose Your Feature
Open the add-on sidebar and navigate to the Document Tools section. You'll find:
- Copy all contents to clipboard (LLM) - For the entire document
- Copy tab contents to clipboard (LLM) - For the current tab/sheet/slide
Note: These features work in Google Docs™, Google Sheets™, and Google Slides™, adapting to each application's structure.
- Content is Copied Automatically
The add-on extracts all text content and automatically copies it to your clipboard. An HTML modal opens, displaying the copied text for verification.
- Access LLM Providers
The modal provides quick-access buttons to popular LLM providers like ChatGPT and Google Gemini. Click any button to open the provider in a new tab, where you can immediately paste your content.
- Paste and Use
Simply paste (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V) your content into the AI chat interface. The content is already on your clipboard and ready to use.
