Convert Table
Image to Table
Turn images and PDF pages into editable tables, page content, or structured spreadsheet rows in Google Docs™, Google Slides™, and Google Sheets™.
Use Image to Table when you want to turn a screenshot, scan, photo, or PDF page into something editable inside Google Workspace™.
Open Extensions > Text To Table Converter > Selected Image to Table, or use the sidebar path Convert & Format > Selected Image to Table. The same Image to Table window now handles one file or many files in one queue.
Instead of separate single and batch tools, the feature gives you three extraction modes:
- `Table` rebuilds visible rows and columns into an editable table.
- `Full` extracts broader page content when the page is not just a table.
- `Documents` turns structured business or administrative documents into spreadsheet rows in Google Sheets™.
You can load files from the current selection where supported, upload from your computer, paste an image, or choose files from Google Drive™. If the source is a PDF, you can select only the pages you want before extracting.
Use this feature for jobs like rebuilding a report from a screenshot, extracting a scanned PDF page, or turning receipts, invoices, and bills of lading into rows in a sheet.
- Table and Full Modes - Use the main Image to Table workflow for visible tables or broader page content.
- Queue and PDF Pages - Process one or more images or selected PDF pages in the shared queue.
- Documents in Google Sheets - Extract invoices, receipts, forms, and similar documents into spreadsheet rows.
