What is the To-Do List?

This free online to-do list lets you capture tasks, set due dates and priorities, and check things off as you go — all in your browser. Your tasks are saved automatically on your device, and when you sign in they sync to your account so the same list follows you across browsers and devices.

A standout feature is AI import: paste a messy brain-dump, a meeting note, or an email, and the tool extracts a clean, ordered list of tasks for you — inferring due dates from phrases like "tomorrow" or "Friday" and flagging anything marked urgent. You can also import and export standard Markdown checklists, so your tasks move freely between GitHub, Obsidian, and any other tool that understands the - [ ] format.

How to Use the To-Do List

1. Type a task in the "New task" box and press Enter to add it to your To Do list.
2. Click the checkbox to mark a task done — it moves to the Done tab automatically.
3. Click a task’s chevron to expand it and set a due date, choose a priority, or add notes.
4. Drag tasks by the handle to reorder them (in Manual sort), or sort by due date or priority.
5. Use Import to paste messy notes (AI builds the list) or a Markdown checklist, and Copy Markdown / Download .md to export.

Your tasks are stored locally in your browser and only sent to our server to sync to your account when you are signed in, or when you use AI import. Standard add, edit, and export actions happen entirely on your device.
