Quiz Builder: Create a Quiz from PDF

Turn selected PDF pages into editable, source-grounded Google Forms quiz questions using a review-first workflow.

Quiz Builder is available only in Google Forms. It drafts questions from the PDF pages you choose and does not modify the Form until you review and confirm insertion.

Build and review a quiz

  1. 1Open the add-on sidebar in Google Forms and choose Create quiz from PDF.
  2. 2Upload a PDF or select one from Google Drive, then choose up to 20 pages within the 20 MB combined limit.
  3. 3Choose the question count and allowed question types, then generate the draft.
  4. 4Review, edit, remove, or regenerate individual questions before insertion.
  5. 5Confirm insertion to add the reviewed questions in new sections of the Form.

Undo the last insertion

The sidebar keeps a one-hour undo action for the last inserted Quiz Builder batch. Undo removes the questions and sections created by that batch.
