Choice Sync from Sheets

Preview and update Google Forms dropdown, multiple-choice, and checkbox options from columns in one selected Google Sheet.

Choice Sync from Sheets is a Google Forms-only workflow. It maps supported Form questions to columns in one spreadsheet and updates choices only when you run the sync.

Manual sync in the current release

Choice Sync stores your mappings for reuse but does not install an automatic trigger. Run the preview and update flow whenever the source values change.

Create or update a mapping

  1. 1Open the add-on in Google Forms and choose Form Tools > Sync choices from Sheets.
  2. 2Choose one source spreadsheet, then select the worksheet and column for each supported question.
  3. 3Preview the values so blanks, duplicates, and formatting are handled as expected.
  4. 4Confirm the update to replace the current choices in the mapped Form questions.
