QR codes are useful in Google Sheets™ when you print reports, labels, checklists, or tracking sheets and still want instant access to online data.
How to Add a QR Code in Google Sheets™
- Open your Google Sheets™ file.
- Go to
Extensions>Text To Table Converter>Open Sidebar. - In the sidebar, open QR Code.
- Paste the URL you want to connect to the sheet.
- Click Insert QR Code.
- Position the QR code where it will remain visible when printed.
Tip: For printed sheets, keep the QR code at a reasonable size and avoid stretching it too small.
