Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Text to Table Converter website (https://www.texttotableconverter.com) or the Text to Table Converter Google Docs™, Google Slides™, and Google Sheets™ Add-on (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

Before continuing to use our website or the Text to Table Converter Google Docs™, Google Slides™, and Google Sheets™ Add-On, please review our Privacy Policy.

Text to Table Converter is operated by Hauke Henning Selke, to which we may refer as “we,” “our,” or “us” in these Terms.

1.1 Geographic Restriction

Text to Table Converter is NOT available to users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Russia. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are NOT located in any of these regions. If you are located in any of these regions, you are strictly prohibited from using the Service.

2. Description of Service

Text to Table Converter is an Add-On for Google Docs™, Google Slides™, and Google Sheets™ that provides tools to manipulate user documents and spreadsheets. Its functionality includes, but is not limited to, transforming text into tables, converting tables into text, applying table formatting, and modifying document or sheet content.

3. Cost of Service

3.1. Text to Table Converter is currently offered for free. However, we reserve the right to introduce or modify features that may incur charges in the future.

3.2. Text to Table Converter reserves the right to change, modify, or remove features offered at any point in time. Such changes may be made to ensure the stability of our service, for security reasons, or for other operational needs.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Text to Table Converter or any third party.
  • Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Harm minors in any way.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through the Service.
  • Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation.
  • Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of networks connected to the Service.
  • Intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without their express consent.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Text to Table Converter and its licensors.

5.2. Users are prohibited from:

*   Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to discover the source code of the Service.
*   Modifying, copying, or creating derivative works based on the Service.
*   Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other systems or networks connected to the Service.

5.3. When using Text to Table Converter, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use the service and that you comply with its terms and conditions.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Text to Table Converter, its affiliates, agents, directors, employees, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the Service.

6.2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Text to Table Converter assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

6.3. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

In no event shall Text to Table Converter’s total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing or using the Service, or 10 USD, whichever is less.

7. Disclaimer

7.1. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

7.2. Text to Table Converter relies on third-party services to provide its functionality. We cannot guarantee that these third-party services will always be available, functioning, or exist in the future. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of any significant changes that may affect the Service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Text to Table Converter and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. User Support

10.1. Text to Table Converter provides basic user support through email support for users. We will make reasonable efforts to address and respond to support requests in a timely manner, but we do not guarantee resolution of all issues through user help.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes to these Terms. What constitutes a significant change will be determined at our sole discretion. Examples of significant changes may include changes to pricing, the introduction of new features that require additional data collection, or changes to the legal basis for processing your data.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Taipei, Taiwan for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

16. Intellectual Property Notices

Google Docs™, Google Slides™, and Google Sheets™ are trademarks of Google LLC. All uses of these trademarks must comply with Google’s Trademark Guidelines and Permissions. This add-on is not endorsed by or affiliated with Google LLC.
